It is believed that during this meeting, the Army Chief informed the Defense Minister that the army is fully prepared for a long faceoff with China, because the disengagement process may take a long time. According to the information, before reducing the deployment of troops on Disengagement, there is a need to reduce the tension on the border. The disengagement process will be completed only after the stress is reduced. Defense Minister Rajnath Singh returned from his three-day visit to Russia last night. Along with this, the Chief of Army Staff has also returned from Leh-Ladakh on Thursday.

During this time, General Narwane took full details of the conversation with Lieutenant General Harinder Singh of China Corps Commander regarding disengagement at the 14th Corps Headquarters in Leh, as the 14th Corps Commander, Lt Gen Harinder Singh took place on 6 and 22 June India was represented at the Corps Commander level meeting. According to sources, the Army Chief informed the Defense Minister in the South Block that the face-off situation is present in the Depsang Plains close to Daulab Beg Oldi, ie DBO, along with the Gawra Post including the Galvan Valley and Finger-Area. In such a situation, even if the core commanders of both the countries are ready for disengagement, but it is a long process. It is believed that displacement in East Ladakh may take a few months.

That is, the situation on the Line of Actual Control can remain the same till winter. But if sources are to be believed, the Indian Army is fully prepared for this. Let us tell you that on 22 June, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh had visited Russia. He went there to take part in the Victory Day parade to commemorate the 75th anniversary of Russia's victory in World War II. At the same time, during his tour, he also discussed defense and strategic partnership with Russia. During this, he requested Russia to deliver the S-400 missile system as soon as possible. India had signed this missile system from Russia for 39 thousand crores in the year 2018. With this system, enemy fighter jets, helicopters and drones can be shot down within a radius of 400 km. However, China already has the S-300 system offered by Russia. Apart from the S-400, the Defense Minister has requested some more missiles and necessary military equipment which Russia has agreed to provide easily.
