West Bengal government extended lockdown till 31 July

The lockdown in West Bengal has been extended till 31 July. In view of the ever increasing cases of Corona virus in the state, the state government has taken this decision. Schools and colleges in the state have already been closed till 31 July. After the all-party meeting on Wednesday, the Mamata Banerjee government decided to extend the lockdown in the state till 31 July.

Mamta Banerjee government said that even the work with social distancing in the government offices will be continued in the same way. Corona patients will be treated prominently right now under ICMR guidelines. The government said that in many areas people are struggling with other diseases, but they are still being avoided. We are also sad about this. However, serious patients will be seen on priority.

Mamta Banerjee convened an all-party meeting on Wednesday to discuss the strategy of combating the ever-increasing corona virus in West Bengal. This all-party meeting was held at the Nabana Auditorium of the State Secretariat at Howrah. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and Speaker of the Assembly were also present in this meeting. The West Bengal government convened an all-party meeting for the first time regarding the corona virus.
