Two terrorists killed in Sopore encounter

Two terrorists have been killed in an ongoing encounter in Sopore in Jammu and Kashmir. The encounter between the security forces and the terrorists is going on. Here two to three terrorists are reported to be hiding. The joint team of Sopore Police, 22 RR and CRPF are present on the spot and are carrying out an encounter with the terrorists. Internet service has been stopped in the area.

Earlier on June 23, two terrorists were killed by security forces in Bandju area of Pulwama. However, a CRPF jawan also died. Kashmir zone IG Vijay Kumar had said that two terrorists have been killed in the encounter. A joint operation of police, army and CRPF started search operation in Bandju.

At the same time, on June 21, 4 terrorists, including a Pakistani, were killed in separate encounters in Kulgam and Srinagar of Jammu and Kashmir. Police and CRPF personnel jointly conducted a search operation after receiving information about the hiding of terrorists in Jadibal area of Srinagar. During this, the security forces asked the terrorists to surrender.

The terrorists were also tried to surrender through their families and community members, but instead of surrendering the terrorists started firing indiscriminately on the security forces itself. After this, the security forces retaliated and heaped the terrorists. Three terrorists were killed in this encounter, whose bodies have been recovered.

Apart from this, a terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Kulgam on Saturday evening. The terrorist killed in an encounter with security forces has been identified as Tayyib Waheed alias Imran Bhai. He was also called as Ghazi Baba. He was a Pakistani terrorist and was associated with the terrorist organization Jaish-e-Mohammed.
