New Delhi. India Global Week 2020 started in the UK from today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the program with a video link. Modi said in his speech, “India is the powerhouse of talent. He has been contributing and wants to contribute to the development and well-being of the world. Our country wants to move forward. Indians are natural reformers. We face every challenge. Be it social or economic. Today we are fighting the war against the epidemic with full force. But, we also want development and environment protection together. ” The Prime Minister further said, "In India, Earth is called Mother, we are its children. We are working on Ease of Doing Business.
We have made all the reforms related to this and are taking them forward. We provided facilities to people in times of epidemic. We released a relief package. We wanted each and every penny to reach the needy. This was also possible through technology. We are also employing millions of people. This will help the rural areas. " Modi further said, “We appeal to global companies to come forward to invest in India. There is a wealth of talent and opportunities here. Referring to the pharma sector in difficult times, Modi said, “The epidemic has brought out how well India's pharma sector can perform. We can make cheap and quality medicines. The same will happen with the vaccine. We are ready to contribute in this matter. This will help developing countries. Self-reliant India will help not just domestic people but also the world.
During the time of the pandemic, our greeting mode Namaste was accepted globally. The epidemic indicated its importance. India is setting the criteria for development and prosperity in the world. " India Global Week Summit 2020 will run for three days. It is organized on a virtual platform. Many ministers of Modi government will be involved in this. Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar, Railway and Commerce Minister Piyush Goyal, Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri, IT Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad and Skill Development Minister Mahendra Nath Pandey will participate in Global Week. Prince Charles of the British Royal Family will also attend the summit. Apart from this, Foreign Minister Dominic Robb, Home Minister Preeti Patel, Health Minister Matt Hencock and Trade Minister Liz Truss will also participate in the summit.
